How to Become a Christian?

Description: How to Become a Christian? highlights how the book of Acts in the New Testament is indeed a rich source of examples of people exercising saving faith in Jesus Christ. It provides a variety of situations and circumstances in which individuals from different backgrounds and cultures became followers of Christ. The book highlights the transformative power of the Gospel and how it can impact people from all walks of life.  Acts showcases the conversion of Jews, proselytes (Gentiles who had converted to Judaism), God-fearers (Gentiles who were attracted to Judaism and worshiped in synagogues), Romans, and even barbarians (a term used to refer to non-Greek-speaking people). These individuals came to faith in Jesus through a series of commitments that began with hearing and believing the Gospel message.

In Romans 10:17, the Apostle Paul emphasizes the role of hearing the word of God in developing faith.  He writes, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of God.”  This verse underscores the importance of proclaiming and sharing the Gospel with others.  Ultimately, How to Become a Christian? portrays the message of the Good News, which is the offer of eternal salvation through the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  It serves as a reminder of the fundamentals of the Christian faith and encourages believers to share their faith with others, spreading the love, a peace that passes understanding, and hope found only in Jesus Christ.
