Ironically, the Romans and the Christians (martyred or alive) are the only victors: the Jewish revolt miserably fails; its authors are severely punished and subdued.  Therefore, Revelation 20 opens without reverting to 6 Sivan, A.D.33 (A.K.A. the Day of Pentecost/ Acts chapter 2), or any other earlier period.  The Jerusalem Church (which had fled to Pella during the Jewish civil war) had already returned to the ruins of the Great City and became the camp of the saints by finding a highly successful outreach on the same spot where the Upper Room used to be.
