Judæa Capta: The First Roman-Jewish War (Tisha B'Av lecture 5779/2019)

Above are the six Roman emperors who ruled over the vanquished Zealots from the A.D. 70 Destruction of Jerusalem to the rise of Simon Bar Kokhba in A.D. 132.  Bar Kokhba's ascent marked the end of the Judæa Capta Period of Jewish salvation history, but the Bar Kokhba Rebellion foreshadowed the final end of Zealot wars and led, dramatically, the end of the ancient Jewish State by the end of A.D.135 and early 136.
